Director of Planned Giving
Description: We are currently seeking a Director of Planned Giving who will take a well developed program to the next level. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing and Development, the Director of Planned Giving will focus on the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors for planned gifts.
Qualifications: The successful candidate for this position will have exceptional interpersonal, writing and presentation skills and be a mission oriented, strategic thinker with a proven ability to participate in and close high level gift discussions. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of deferred giving instruments and be available to travel nationwide to meet with current and potential supporters.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5-7 years of development experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel with particular emphasis on database use including report creation and management. Donor Perfect a plus.

Whelping Kennel Technician
Patterson, NY
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Tuesday-Friday
Saturday, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm
(In the event of a whelp on Saturday, the employee may be required to spend the night attending to the brood and newborn pups.)
Daily cleaning of kennels and associated facilities. Basic dog care to include feeding, exercise, administration of medication, neonatal care, bathing, and grooming. Monitor the birthing process to ensure the health and safety of the pups and adults. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, computer literate, strong interpersonal skills, some experience handling large dogs preferred.
Salary low to mid $20’s.
